Daily Prayer to the Holy Spirit
O Holy Spirit
I humbly implore You,
be with me always
so that in all things,
I may act under the influence
of Your holy inspiration. Amen
My Daily Offering
Most loving Father, I thank You for the gift of this new
day. Please help me to use it for Your honour and
glory. By Your mercy may all my thoughts, words, and
actions be pleasing today in Your sight.
In Your unfailing kindness, Lord almighty, forgive my
past failings, preserve me this day without sin, and
protect all Your people from every evil.
May the ever-blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of our
Saviour, keep us under her special protection. By her
prayers and the aid of all Your Saints, kindly keep us
ever intent on doing good today for Your names's sake.
These great blessings we ask in confidence through
Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.

To You before the close of day
Creator of the world we pray
Out of Your kindness help us keep
Watch all around us while we sleep
From all bad dreams defend our eyes
From nightly fears and fantasies
Tread under foot our ghostly foe
That no pollution we may know
O Father this we ask be done
Through Jesus Christ Your only Son
Who with You and the Comforter
Does live and reign for ever and ever. Amen
